I have had this shadow box laying around for years now and have at least 3 other ideas on how to use it. I finally got around to one. I was inspired by a cute frame I saw on Pinterest.
So here is what I did….
Had the frame and picture already. Went to Michaels for the letters.
The R was already black, the other letters I painted a yellow and did a brown wash over them to give them an old rustic look.
Painted the sides of the shadow box.
Picked out some scrapbook paper. I cut out a rectangle to give the picture a framed look.
Glued down picture, paper in the box and on the rim.
Then hot glued letters in the box and put a mat decoupage finish over everything. Glued on R to the rim.
And then enjoyed!
